Our outfit runs three and four-day salmon and steelhead fishing trips in the late summer, fall, and spring and whitewater rafting trips in the spring and summer through the spectacular Wild and Scenic section of the Rogue river. We also run one day drift boat fishing trips on the Rogue the entire year.

Rogue Excursions Unlimited Inc. is one of the oldest established river businesses in the world and on the Rogue river and is permitted by the Forest Service and BLM. We are fully licensed and recognized by the state of Oregon and are long time members of the Rogue River Guides Association.

Terry O'Connors, the lead guide for Rogue Excursions, is a native Oregonian and has fished the Rogue River since his childhood. Terry started guiding in 1970, begin working with Rogue Excursions in 1973 and purchased Rogue Excursions in 1985. In 2006 Terry sold the business to Ken Streater, with whom he has worked for eight years. Ken has been a Rogue river guide and outfitter since 1985. And, Terry continues to guide rafting and fishing trips as he has done for over four decades. Add to that the fact that Terry's crew mates are full-time experienced, professional guides, not part-time guides, and all have maintained a superb safety record.

Terry and our guides excel in making the first-timer feel right at home, but still can satisfy the experienced rafter or fisherman. Our Rogue river rafting equipment is well maintained and is of the highest quality. Our Rogue river fishing drift boats and range of tackle are just right for first-timers and fishing veterans alike. We are small by comparison with other outfitters, but we cater to our guests and run a deluxe river trip.

The Rogue River originates high in the Cascade Mountains in Southern Oregon near Crater Lake, and then rambles through the Rogue River Valley, around Medford, Grants Pass, through the Pacific Coast Range and enters the Pacific Ocean at Gold Beach.

The section that winds through the valley is accessible by roads and is where Rogue Excursions runs their one-day fishing trips. The Rogue River Canyon is the 40 mile section of river that passes through the Pacific Coast Range and was designated Wild and Scenic by the government in 1968. The Rogue Canyon is where Rogue Excursions runs all of its 3 and 4 day Oregon fishing and rafting trips, and is a permitted and limited entry area.
